Hair: Kaya's hair is usually a brown color, but she goes through these episodes where she changes her hair color, but she never really says why she does it, it just happens, and she tends to always keep it in the darker range of color. Once she gets to the camp she stops changing her hair color.
eyes:Kaya's eyes a dull blue-green that only seem to light up at night or when she is really excited.
skin: Her skin is tan most of the time, even though she doesn't go outside often. Her mother always told her she got from her mom's side, and well a little bit from her father.
Important marks: Kaya has a multitude of scars on her body from things that happened in her past. Most of them are on her chest.
The worst scar is the one on her right arm, she almost lost the use of her arm when the knife cut through some of the muscles, and a few nerves.
All of her scars are hidden well by her clothes, and she only seems to tell people she trusts about the scars on her body, which at this point is no one because she doesn't know anyone.

History:
Before Birth: Maxine was traveling with her best friend when she met Kaya and Kai's father, at the time she didn't feel interested in him. But everywhere they went that man kept appearing. And after her friend set her up with him, there was an instant connection, and then when Maxine found out she was pregnant with Kai, she had to find somewhere to go, and she was still out of town with her best friend. She was sitting at the house she had rented with her best friend, when she felt like she was being watched. She went outside and there he was, waiting for her. And that was the last time she saw him, he told her he had to leave or something bad would happen but she would have a gift that she had wanted for the longest time, and with that he was gone.
Infant life:
Kaya was born on May 4th, a hour after her brother, her mom had no idea she was pregnant with two, she had thought it was only one, but when they told her she had two, she was unsure of how she would support them both, but then she was trying to get to her car with the two infants, when a black haired man walked over and began to help her get the two children into the car. The two hit it off, and when the infants were about two years old the two got married. Kaya and Ashton hit it off istantly but with Kai there was a delayed start with them. And Kaya never understood it, and still she didnt' know why she was like that. Ashton took them to an amusement park, when Kai got separated from Kaya and Ashton. While they were looking for him, Kaya noticed a man in a black coat looking at them, and still to this day no one believed her about seeing a tail under his cloak. But they found Kai sitting under a ride crying his arm bleeding. It turns out he had been walking with them, and someone had pushed him, and he had spent hours looking for them too, and gotten frustrated when he couldn't find them. And then some guy had come up behind him and dragged him toward the ride, but then he escaped from the guy who had been trying to find him. That wasn't the last time that the guy had shown up, they had been found by him during the school year when they were on the playground where there mother worked. That was the last time they were ever in the city of Flagstaff Arizona.
Childhood:
During there childhood they moved to Moscow, hoping to hide away from whatever was attacking the kids. The young kids had no idea what was going here, but they knew that something was happening. But that was when everything went downhill, Ashton disappeared and there mom had trouble supporting them. She had to get two jobs and find a babysitter for the two kids, she was always working and she was hardly ever home, until she got sick, and had to quit working. The kids did there best to help the babysitter take care of there mom, and they lived in peace for many years until they got to being teenagers.
Teen years:
When Kaya became a teen, she learned that she was a bit different, but she couldn't quit place her finger on what it was, but she tried to ask her brother, and he seemed to know something even if he wouldnt' tell her, but she always wondered what it was. And even when she was told that she should not dig into it, she kept digging, using computers, other people and then she found out about a place called Camp Half-Blood. She was going to go back home when a police car with her brother in the back pulled up next to her. She was taken to what remained of her house, and she couldnt' believe that this had happened. Part of her wondered if this was why her mom had told them to leave, she had found out that her mother hadn't been in the house, but she was in the hospital and they were being sent to a camp for the summer, or at least until there mother recovered. She knew what camp becuase she had heard her mom talking about it. She found out who her father was when she came to the camp,but for her brother it is still a mystery.
Personality:Kaya is a bit of a loner, who keeps close to her brother. Those two are so close that they don't really like to talk to anyone else. They are always together and they always keep to themselves. She loves her family, but her brother is really the only she has with her at this point so she tends to keep close to him. She pushes others away because she doesn't want to be hurt by anyone and her brother isn't good with people. She acts mean towards everyone so they will leave her alone, so she can just have the only thing she really needs which happens to be her brother and she doesn't want anyone else. She already feels like she lost her mom, and she blames herself so she seems a bit more closed off than her brother.
On the inside she is a stressed out little girl who tries to make her brother happy and make sure nothing happens to him. She takes everything onto her shoulders, and doesn't let her brother take any of it, which makes them seem a bit at odds sometimes. But for the most part she is a sweet kid under the surface, but she doesn't like anyone but her brother seeing it, so she keeps it hidden and away.
