Of Ruffles and Roses~Dan Lee~

[DAN LEE]

Dan didn't know what was really going on, there was so much turmoil and he could barely believe it and he knew that he was not going to succeed, this was something that he would fail, but he would want to be more closer to his friend, or maybe more than his friend. "I know I just was so confused...I thought you hated me because of what I had said...so I hunted and hunted hoping to find out what had happened, and then I just up and wanted to quit and then I managed to find my way here..." he wondered if Uriel still felt the same way, and if he did would he just run off again and leave Dan here sitting confused. "You won't run away again...or do you still think that was a bit creepy?" he didn't want to take his next move if the boy wasn't ready and plus he wasn't about to lose his friend or maybe what he was going to be come.

"I just want you to know I was never mad at you, everything was so much confusion and other things..." he didn't want them to notice when he had been with him, that he was really broken up about the fact that Uriel had left, but it had not been very easy for him, and they had found out, so he had to leave, or at least he had thought they would kick him out,so he left for that reason and a few other things, so he had a lot of problems and he couldnt' keep things the way he needed them to be. 'Come on don't let me mess this up...' He was so nervous and he was very worried about it all and he wanted the things to go his way, but he knew they probably never ended up going any further and he would probably hurt him, not go where he wanted.

[ARADIA PETERSON]

"Life's creepy, it's just like that. So I like creepy 'cuz I like life. So no, I won't run away ever again." Uriel smiled, truly smiled, casting his eyes out to the ocean, casting his heart out to the person beside him. Perhaps the best cure to confusion was to confront it. Like fear. But wait, is confusion like fear? Uriel thought to himself, then Well, if confusion's like fear, fear is like hate and hate is like love... so all this is love? That makes absolutely no sense. It didn't matter. Not anymore. His... friend. His friend was back with him.
"Both of us are really confused I think, but let me get this straightened out. Neither of us hate each other, all right? We're close friends who will never, ever hate each other." Uriel just had to confirm. He just didn't wanna lose this friend, this entire world Dan brought him tiptoeing into and then immediately forced him to dance in. Weird analogy, but it fit.

[DAN LEE]

Dan moved up to him smiling like he had when he had first met him. "Jeez how long have I waited to find you...you don't ever run off like that..." he was laughing for the first time since Uriel had left, he for the most part wanted to do more right now, but he didn't know if he should, but he looked at Uriel, remembering why he had begun to find happiness in this person and he was about to like him for more than anything, he just wanted to hold the boy close to him, which to most would seem wierd, and he didn't know if that was what he would think if he did that to him right now. 'I want to do this...but I don't know if it is the right time...' He was shivering as he looked at the boy, hoping that the boy wasn't looking at him close enough to see this, he was supposed to the strong one and he was trying to hold back the one thing that could ruin there meeting, and that was not what he wanted to do, he wanted to keep this going, and not lose it now, since it had barely started.

Dan finally got over the fear of wanting to do it, so he walked over shivering again his mind running all these ideas of Uriel hating him even though all Dan had ever wanted was to be hugged and well his father did so many things but never, ever hugged him, so he came up behind Uriel placing his arms on his shoulders as he prayed silently, and then put his arm down a bit hugging Uriel to his body. He wasn't trying to do this to scare him, he just really felt like he needed a hug, and plus his mind was running back to what his father was doing to him. His eyes grew a bit blank, but he shook his head trying to get those images out of his head, but they wouldn't fade as quickly as he wanted.' Darnit leave me alone...' He pulled his hands into fists, trying his best to control what those images were going to do to him, and when they faded, he was shivering more, and he had to deal with it, but right now his mind was on the boy who was in front of him. "Uh sorry was just think about something..."

He pulled back hoping he hadn't scared him,but he figured he probably had, so he was ready for him to run away and leave him here again, and he was now prepared for that and he knew even if he didn't like it he was going to have to live with it.

Uriel stayed where he was. Not frozen, not scared. A bit shy, sure, but not scared. "Ah... Uh.. if you ever need a hug, I'm happy to give. I've been lonely, we could both benefit from positive human touch." A deep blush blossomed on the boy's cheeks. He couldn't help it, he just... he just blushed when Dan was around, he didn't know why, it just happened. So like a small child, he turned away to bask in the pre-sunrise glory of the Atlantic Ocean. Salt was tangling his hair still, from the position he'd been in on the sand, and his clothes still held tiny pockets of grit in their folds. It all fell away though, and like a small child, he was one to believe in promises. He raised his hand, last finger extended in half of a child's pinky swear. "I'll never leave, I promise. I won't run away." Uriel's eyes were clear, wide, honest. Innocent.

[DAN LEE]

Dan couldn't help but blush himself as he met the boy half way with the pinky swear. He wasn't one for playing kid's games, but he really wanted this, and he liked playing like this with Uriel even if it was wierd for him to act like a kid, because that just wasn't who he was. "If I asked you to do something more...would you ever actually agree?" he laughed at what he had said, but he wanted to do the right thing and he was so sure about what was going on and he knew this was what he wanted, but he didn't know if was what Uriel wanted, but it was getting to the point where he couldn't hold himself back much longer. Dan picked Uriel up, smiling at him, he was blushing deeply and well he wanted to take Uriel home with him, but then again he wasn't going home so ha, how was he going to do that. He could take him back to the cabin but that would be bad too, becuase he never knew if someone would show up and see them and he didn't care much,but that wouldnt' be good if they were found out, or whatever, if that even made any sense, cause to him in a way it didnt'.

He hugged him and swung him around a bit just becuase he was wierd and was really happy, and he put him down stepping a bit, but when he stepped he stumbled, almost falling. 'Be careful...' He told himself as he stepped again tripping, looking where he was falling which happened to be right where Uriel was standing, he knew he was going to knock Uriel down but all he could was make it to where they landed on a soft area which they were on sand so that might have worked. So he fell onto Uriel blushing, his hand on side, and he was so unaware of what else he might have been touching, but this made his body feel warm, and he wanted to do something to Uriel, and his eyes were on Uriel's and he was blushing even worse now, partially because of the fall and partially because of where his other hand had fallen.

[URIEL ELDRICH]

"If I asked you to do something more...would you ever actually agree?"
Uriel flushed a shade deeper, somewhere around fuchsia now. His heart beat a slightly faster rhythm, but responded all the same. "I... I'd agree, I suppose. Depending on what it was. If it was like... murder or something, I don't think I'd agree, but If it was meet-" The blonde boy was tossed backwards, into the sand. He just barely managed to avoid falling head first. And then there was the weight on him, Dan's weight. And again, Uriel's blush deepened. Now, though, it was a much more obvious shift. Devil remarked, but Uriel barely noticed and Angel hushed him. A wave came in, nearly high enough to touch them. A pause, five seconds, Uriel counted, of silence. Just the waves pushing back and forth methodically on the sand.
"Owww..." Uriel muttered, then, "Erm... Dan? Uhh..."

[DAN LEE]

Dan was to shocked, he looked down at him blushing then leaned down, pulling his hand back away from him, but he didn't get off of him yet, and he was so unsure of whether they could get further, but his body ached in a way it hadn't before, and he felt like he should move, but he couldn't. Mainly it wasn't because he couldn't, it was because he didn't want to. But he couldn't hold himself back anymore, his hands were traveling down Uriel's shirt playing with the ruffles, he sighed and picked himself up off of Uriel placing the boy on his lap. "Well I hope I didn't hurt you..." he was so intoxicated by the scent that was coming off of Uriel. He leaned towards the boy's neck, drawing in Uriel's scent. "If i go to far you can tell me to stop...." he moved the boy's hair out of the boy's face, looking into his eyes, his mouth felt dry, as he ran his hands down the boy's neck not wanting to go to far at this point, but his mind was on taking this boy for all he had, but instead of leaving him like most would, he wouldn't bother to leave to do that, he would always be with him, and that was what he was telling himself as he did the one thing he hadn't expected to do, and he was thinking more than he had to, and plus he was running his hands to the edge of the boy's shirt, really not wanting to go to far,but he knew he wasn't going to be able to hold back, he was trying to ignore the thoughts that were running through his head because of his father, but he leaned closer to the boy's neck, the image of his father in his head was doing something similiar, this was wierd to him, but he wanted it, even if it wasn't something his father would like. He shivered, his breath was the only thing that the boy could feel on the back of his neck, while Dan's hand ran over the boy, and well he slipped his hand underneath the boy's shirt, his fingers were cold against the young boy's skin, but he didn't pull away.

[URIEL ELDRICH]

Uriel lay in the surf. He just lay there, far enough up on the beach to barely feel the water, but still he just lay there. He slowly turned onto his side, bringing his knees to his chin and examining his very wrinkled ruffled vest. And so the small child had grown up-and no mother was around to care or cry. Only the child and the child's partner were around for the miracle, growth. The sun was beginning to rise, over the ocean. Uriel and watched with half tired, half overjoyed eyes.
Why the hell... Why the hell did we have to be around for this? I wish I could have walked away. Devil sulked.
What was wrong with it? Angel still had his popcorn, somehow.
I'm not letting that happen again. Devil growled.
Seeing his content, Uriel's eyes cleared, No way in Hades are you gonna take ov- To late, Uriel was shoved to the back of his own head as the darker side took over.
"Get over here, Darrick." Devil took special care to use the wrong name when calling to his other personality's partner.

[DAN LEE]

Dan opened his eyes looking over at Uriel. "Hey are you okay?" he yawned rubbing his eyes, something really seemed different, he had been happy that this happened but something seemed a bit off. "Dude are you okay?" he had been holding him close to his body when he had moved, he heard the change in voice, and the name. "Who the heck are you?" his weapon was in his shirt, and he lunged for it grabbing for it just out of habit, but he looked back at Uriel knowing that he cared about Uriel and he couldn't hurt him. "What the heck is going on here?"

He was so confused but he couldn't do anything about that right now, Uriel was his concern, he had never seen this side of him before, was this what he had been feeling all this time, all the time he had been with Uriel, he had felt something was off and now he knew what it was for the most part, but he still couldn't believe it. He was frightened and he had to deal with what was right in front of him. 'Oh no what I am supposed to do...he could hurt himself...or I could hurt him...' The fear in his eyes was obvious because he was so scared about hurting him and he really didn't want to do that, he wanted to protect Uriel and that was what he was supposed to do. "Wake up Uriel...." he whispered to himself, kinda hoping he would wake up.

[URIEL ELDRICH]

"My name is... well, I don't particularly have one because your boyfriend here couldn't think of anything better than Devil. So I suppose that will do." The blonde boy smirked, entirely unbecoming of his face. He stood, and picked up a seashell, tossing it up and down threateningly, he knew Shiroi wouldn't transform for him, stupid bird, so the shell was all he had.
"I'm... one of the two... I'd say people here, but we're not that, born into Uriel's mind about a year back. Don't worry, your darling's not hurt. I just couldn't stand the gayness of the atmosphere. It's disgusting, both of you are disgusting. Fags." Devil growled removing the rumpled vest, wanting to be taken seriously.
You are such a jerk, Devil. Angel said mentally, attempting to comfort Uriel, who was floating at the back of their mind, thinking hopeless thoughts.

[DAN LEE]

Dan growled moving foward slamming his hand into Uriel's neck. "shut up you filthly devil...you made a bad choice of coming out here..you put yourself where that gayness you hate so much happens, and now it could be happening to you..." He growled, his hand wasn't squeezing the boy's throat, but he was angry and it was obvious in the dark color of his eyes. He didn't look as happy as he had before and he wanted Uriel out. "You know you are jerk...frankly I don't think I ever want anything to do with this dark side of him, I like Uriel and not you...so well I wonder how to get him back..." he was about ready to use violence but he had to remember that he could hurt Uriel if he wasn't careful, so the knife that was in his hand fell to the ground. "I can't hurt him..."he wondered if the pain would happen to Uriel if he did hurt him, but he didn't know about that so he was worrying and he was about to hurt him, because he could not take the anger anymore, the anger that was building up inside of him. "just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to hurt him....just take that rage out on me...and leave him out of it..."

[URIEL ELDRICH]

"Hah. I've been here the entire time, dear. Just haven't come out, Angel too, he even found popcorn. It's not our fault we're here. Actually, if anything, it's your bloody fault." The smirk on Devil's-or rather Uriel's- face grew as the hand clasped around his throat. Devil was a masochist, along with the other two inhabitants of the body, so he didn't mind. The dark side licked a canine, just to seem menacing. He liked the idea of a fight. "You see, my dear pansy, I am not him. Thus, I am bloody well inclined to hurt you all I want." Devil let out a short laugh, cold and hard and not in any way happy. Then Dan gave his offer. "Hmph. Really, you're no fun to play with anymore. It's only entertaining when I know you'll scream." Devil ran a hand along the tattoo of hellfire on his right wrist. Yes, this would be fun...
Devil, you...you...you...Morceau de merde Angel switched to French, just for Uriel's sake, Va te faire foutre, enculé, vous êtes une pomme de terre avec le visage d'un cochon d'inde!
Uriel only picked up that the last one was something about guinea pigs.
Calm down. I though angels were supposed to be sweet and kind and loving.

[DAN LEE]

Dan growled pulling out his sword, looking at him anger in his eyes. "Fine I guess I might just fight you..." he knew he probably didnt' have the strength to beat him, but he was going to try and if he was the one who would feel the pain he was fine with it, and he didnt' care. "Let's just see who really wings you filthy devil..." he had know all around this time was a good time, but he didn't know if he could actually beat him but he was going to try. He hissed, feeling a slight pain in his hand but he ignored it, glaring at the man in front of him, even if he knew it was Uriel's body, but this man was not Uriel, he was something that could hurt either of them if he had the choice, of course he knew that the man didn't like him at all.

"I will not let you take from me what I have just found!" he wanted to attack him, but he was waiting of the movement of the other man who he wanted to act first, because he was going to use the moves he had learned on his many adventures searching for Uriel. He was not about to let his guy take his life away from him. 'Please let me have the strength to know when to stop...' He asked that to who knows what, or even who because he was the son of the god of war, and he wasn't always going to be able to stop and he really hoped that he could stop, because he didn't want to kill Uriel, or anyone. He was a child for the most part, and this part of Uriel reminded him of his father, and he wasn't going to be weak like he was before, because he had to deal with the darkness that had been in his heart before.

[URIEL ELDRICH]

"Heh, now that's what I like to hear. Do you want your death to be fast or slow, you sickening pansy?" Devil gave a thumbs down sign, his evil grin growing.
I've gotta stop this, he's being horrible to your boyfriend, isn't he? Angel sighed, taking on the role of parent once more to the two seemingly adolescent boys who happened to pop up in his life...Angel was probably the only one who could physically drag Devil back. It was kinda like rock paper scissors, Devil trumped Uriel, Angel trumped Devil, and Uriel trumped Angel. Thus, they had to have a lot of teamwork, would have said any normal psychologist. Devil just hated it, he was thrust back into their head with Uriel, who he promptly started insulting and who completely ignored him.
"I do apologize, good sir. It's just Devil is a bit jumpy with homosexuals, he seems to have an extreme case of homophobia or something along those lines," Angel was saying, "I'd let Uriel out now, but it's best to let both he and Devil calm down a bit first. My name is Angel, and I'm sorry to have disturbed your wonderfully romantic date."

[DAN LEE]

"i...It's fine..." he was angry too, but he stopped and dint' bother to care anymore, he just wanted Uriel back. He was about to break, but he couldnt' do it, because he wanted Uriel and that was all he really wanted, and when he sat down falling against the ground, his head on his knees, he was shivering as if he was cold, but for the moment it was shock. He was hardly able to stand after that, his anger took a lot out of him because he had done his best to keep it under control and when he lost control, he grew so tired, and what not, but he was still doing his best to calm down so he wouldn't pass out. He was waiting for something, and he had no idea what he was waiting for. "So you are the other side of him...why does that devil hate me so much...it's not completely my fault..." he had been blamed by his father for the way his father was, and he didn't like anyone else doing that, but of course no one understood that, and no one ever would because he wasn't about to tell anyone, his pain was his own and no one elses, his feelings could not change and they never would no matter what that stupid man wanted, so what if he wasn't liked by him that wasn't what mattered to him at all.
